Here are a few important details to ensure everything goes smoothly:

Session Link & Meeting Details sent at the time of your session: I will send a Zoom link and meeting details to the cell number and /or email on file at the time of your session. Please keep an eye out for that information.

Time Zone: All appointments are scheduled in CST. To avoid any confusion, I recommend using a time zone converter to ensure you're joining the session at the correct local time.

Session Preparation: Please come prepared with a topic or question you would like to discuss or get assistance with. This will help us maximize the time we have together.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy: If you need to cancel, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance. You can email me directly at melodyalleninfo@gmail.com or send a text with your full name to 832-338-9971. Please note that any no-shows will count against your allotted number of sessions with me or will incur a late fee.

Business Hours & Communication: While I’m in session, I’m unable to answer calls directly. For any urgent matters, text & email is the best way to reach me.

Prospective Clients: Thank you so much for your interest in therapy and my services. Sometimes there is a 1 month wait to see me, with exceptions for some EAPs (employee assistance programs). If you are not able to wait, please do not schedule.

24 Hour Cancellation Policy

If you cancel or change your appointment more than 24 hours in advance, there is no penalty. You can do all of these steps through the online scheduler.

If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours in advance, your session fee will have to be paid before you can reschedule.If you are using eap for your session, all eaps have their own rules (check with your perspective eap rules of engagement) No changes are permitted less than 24 hours in advance so you'll need to cancel your session and then purchase a new session in order to make any changes.

No Same day session format changes or time changes
